At university in Sheffield, I cook most of my meals because it’s a lot cheaper, and tends to be healthier. Pasta is a dish that can be very expensive when you order out, but it can actually be quite simple to make!

I adapted my recipe from the one on BBC Food:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/pennewithpancettaand_88250
I used grana padano because Tesco ran out of parmesan 😔 and ham instead of pancetta.

I grated the grana padano with a fork because I did not have a grater – it was tough work but still looked and tasted good!

3 yolks, cheese, 110ml double cream, salt and pepper for the sauce – so easy, so delish 😋
Also, I cooked this using my trusty Russell Hobbs rice cooker!
