Since I am currently under Stay Home Notice (SHN) at the Grand Hyatt, I’m going to review some of my SHN food 😋
I ordered char kway teow from the breakfast menu because I hadn’t eaten this local dish for a very long time 😩

100% kway teow is more common, but I find that mixing kway teow and the yellow noodles here made the texture less one-dimensional! It reminds me of economical bee hoon. I like that this was less oily than many other places, and not too sweet. The veggies (cabbage, bean sprouts, beans 🌱) also prevented it from becoming jelak 👍🏻 I feel that wok hei would elevate this even further!
