Looking for an affordable café in the West of Singapore? I would recommend Bread Yard!
A few weeks ago, I was meeting some friends. We wanted a nice café around Buona Vista that could fit everyone’s budget and I stumbled upon Bread Yard. The location is great and accessible by MRT, just alight from One-North MRT station and take exit D!
Bread Yard is not just great for its bread-based food, they have a decent selection of drinks like coffee and tea as well! When we got there, we found a seat and ordered at the cashier. The staff was friendly, which is always a plus and there was free flow of water. After ordering, you’ll be given a buzzer which will notify you when the food is ready for collection.

Props to Bread Yard for showing their menu online. This makes it so much easier to determine if it’s a good place for anyone with dietary requirements.
Overall, it’s quite an extensive menu which had something for everyone and the price point is quite attractive, with most items under $15!

Here’s the exciting part!
We ordered 4 dishes and 3 drinks in total.
To our delight, the portions were visually-appealing, rather large and everything tasted great. The greens were fresh and the flavours were nicely-balanced. The drinks were good too.
My only complaint was that the vinaigrette for SAMVO dish came in a plastic tub, maybe it was easier to store it like that but it isn’t very environmentally-friendly.
Safe to say that we will be back for more!

Just download the app and signup, make a reservation and show it to the cashier at the entrance of the café before you enter to get your discount.
